RIGA CARD is a non-cash payment system which allows users of parking-lots in Riga to pay for parking services with SMS.
Citadele bank cards with e-talons e-ticket
The Citadele bank in cooperation with Rigas Karte have created an innovative change: to use a payment card simultaneously as an e-ticket, registering trips in the public transportation of Riga in the same way as with a standard e-talons e-ticket.

5 years after the introduction of the e payments system in Riga public transport, a large majority of passengers believe that e-tickets are modern, convenient and easy-to-use.
Park&Ride
December 2012: the first Park&Ride car park was opened in Riga.
The system provides that car drivers can leave their cars in protected car parks and then take public transport. With 2 validations on any public transport during the day, they can exit the park free of charge.
Payment for trips in trains
Starting from 01.10.2013 – trains have been included into the transportation system as additional operator. Thanks to e-talons, passengers have a wider choice for public transportation in Riga and its neighbourhood.
Pupil’s e-card
Introduction of pupil’s e-card.
Riga started the introduction of the pupil’s e-cards, which will combine the functions of both the pupil’s certificate and the e-ticket.
Mykoob cooperation
Rīgas Karte in cooperation with Mykoob opens a new project in Latvia.
It is now possible to keep tracks about pupil's safety and school attendance with a personalized e-ticket.
