In 2012, pupil's school conveyance using e-talons as a single electronic ticket was started in Aluksne with the help of "VIDLATAUTO" Ltd. company.
VIDLATAUTO is the first Latvian company which introduced e-ticket into the Latvian regions.
In the past while getting in the bus, the student had to hand over the ticket to the driver, who had to carefully count each ticket and in the evening there was a massive ticket counting, the data was sent for verification by the municipality offices. With the help of "Rigas karte 'representatives and Aluksne County Council, the advantages of e-talons e-ticket were discovered.
The new system is admittedly far better, easier and more convenient: much less paper work for all the parties, no risk of counting errors, and so easier for the students.
